Change: good, bad (how we remember the bad with more weight), how the bad seems to mock and demean the good, trust, leaving yourself open while trusting, naivety, young hearts, old hearts, multi-faceted dimensions, relationships, quick relationships, wild emotions, change without reason, unprompted change, illogical attachment, attachment broken, illogical malice, illogical spite. Cognitive dissonance, hearts naively betrothed. Words given when not understood, yet the whole being was intensly focused on those words. A smile. A friend's heart, late-night talks, drooping eye-lids in class the next day; yet smiles all the way. The world's double standard: the words, hearts are not playtoys, yet the truth, hearts are playtoys.
