Liberty and Corruption

Natural Rights vs. Institutional Rights
The American Revolution was not merely a revolution in the sense of armed conflict against the revered mothe country of the colonies; the American Revolution was a revolution in thought and relations. No longer did individuals live their lives oppressed by the greaters of society through defference, and neither did the British Americans of the colonies endure what was deemed attempts at enslaving the colonies in economic and other servitude towards the corrupt British ministry.

Natural rights are those rights that have only been conceptualized after repeated denial throughout history. Institutional are those provided by the institution present, the government. The rampant corruption present in the governing of the colonies was unquestionably the reason for all colonial discontent.
The aim and hope of this site is to effect a revolution of thought in the reader, each and every reader, one by one, till perhaps another revolution is achieved.

Corruption in government is a part of our life everyday. That we are not aware makes it most deceptive, although it is right in front of our faces each and every day. Government derives it's power from money and not the people. Campaign contributions determine our legislative policy and what tendencies our politicians establish.
